Taylor Swift Was Seen at Los Angeles Dive Bar During Eras Tour Hiatus

Taylor Swift recently enjoyed a laid-back evening out with her circle of friends.

Last Thursday, April 5, the renowned pop sensation, currently taking a short break from her highly successful Eras Tour, dined at Barney’s Beanery, a popular Los Angeles pub, as confirmed by PEOPLE. This well-known eatery has several branches across California, with Swift being spotted at the West Hollywood location.

According to TMZ, Swift’s visit to Barney’s Beanery was to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Candid photos obtained by the outlet captured Swift comfortably seated in a booth by the window, enjoying the cozy ambiance of the venue.

An eyewitness revealed to PEOPLE that Swift and her friends indulged in a selection of classic bar foods such as pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks, burgers, and nachos, all of which are staples on the Barney’s Beanery menu.

“Taylor kept a low profile throughout the evening,” the source disclosed to PEOPLE. “She spent approximately two hours at the venue.”

TMZ further reported that Swift’s security team took care of the bill once the group had departed from the restaurant.

This isn’t the first instance where Swift has delegated the responsibility of settling the bill to her security team. Last September, while dining out in New York City with her friends Laura Dern and Zoë Kravitz, Swift’s security discreetly took care of the tab at the conclusion of their meal.

In an intriguing feature piece from New York magazine’s Vulture section, the bartender at Il Buco Alimentari recounted serving Swift, Dern, Kravitz, and Greta Gerwig on September 19. The bartender, identified as Julius, disclosed that Swift’s security guards covertly paid the bill on her behalf to prevent her friends from doing so.

“Laura Dern was prepared to foot the bill,” Julius recounted to Vulture. “But I declined, saying, ‘No need, Ms. Taylor has already taken care of it!’”

According to Julius, Swift not only settled the bill but also left a substantial tip.

Swift recently concluded a successful series of six performances at the Singapore National Stadium on Saturday, March 9. Her tour is set to recommence in Paris on Thursday, May 9, marking the commencement of its European leg.

During the interim period, Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce enjoyed a romantic getaway to the Bahamas. The couple was photographed strolling hand-in-hand, savoring some quality time together.

“It was a much-needed break for both of them,” a source revealed. “They had a fantastic time. They are genuinely happy together.”
