Man Prepares To Inhumanely Slaughter Bull, Enraged Animal Has A Better Idea
A Muslim man attempting to hunt a bull for a Muslim feast regretted it when the bull defended itself (video below).
In a clip of the incident, the man can be seen trying to run away as the bull angrily rushes towards him and rams him several times. The man continues to run for his life and a woman can be heard screaming in the background.
The origin of the video is unknown, though Mirror reported that it was believed to have been filmed somewhere in the Middle East during the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha. The feast is considered the holier of the two Muslim festivals, and honors the Prophet Abraham for his sacrifice of his son Ishmael.
Many readers thought that killing a bull for religious sacrifice wasn’t right and reacted strongly to the video.
“Well done Wooly Bull! I almost and really just barely feel sorry(not really) for the followers of this so called religion of peace when they die and stand before God Almighty and he asks them ‘Who are you?'” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.
“So cruel the way they kill and hurt animals for halal. I don’t understand the mentality of these people or their ways and I really don’t want to. They need to keep their barbaric practices in their own country,” another wrote.
“At least two other men can be heard in the background telling him what to do instead of going to help him, typical show of cowardice, that’s why theyre running from instead of fighting for their home countrys,” another added.
Several leading Muslim clerics reportedly urged practicing Muslims to refrain from posting videos of animal sacrifice on social media during Eid al-Adha.
“Do not perform the (animal) sacrifice on roads and in public spaces. Do it in spacious enclosures . None of the conduct for (sacrifice) should cause discomfort to our compatriots. Let no tension be created and maintain discipline. We must not break the law in any situation,” an appeal read out loud in mosques during services read, Indian Express reported.
Mufti Arif Hakim Falahi,” principal at Darul Uloom in India, spoke to the practice of sacrificing animals in his country.
“We are a country where people of many religions live together. Islam provides for the sacrifice to be done in purdaah, not by showing off to others. Other communities like Hindus and Jains, do get disturbed by looking at videos and pictures of sacrifice,” he told Indian Express.
