Close-Up Video Shows Why This Is So Painful (Video)
A close-up video of a man having blackheads removed from his face offers a fairly clear explanation for why the process is so painful (video below).
For years, the internet has been fascinated by gross videos of pimples being popped, and when you get sucked into watching, it’s easy to understand why.
The video below shows an extremely close-up view of a man having his pores unclogged. According to AWM, blackheads occur when pores get clogged with dirt and/or debris.
In the video, the dermatologist uses a pair of tweezers to push, pull, and squeeze the pores on the man’s face, leaving behind red marks that show just how painful the process must be.
The subject of the video has particularly clogged pores, with a significant amount of build-up all over his face. After each blackhead gets popped, a trail of white pus follows, pouring out of each pore.
Seeing how the blackhead is extracted from each pore certainly helps viewers understand why the process of popping pimples and blackheads can be so painful, and why the man in the video may have put it off for so long.
Since being uploaded to Facebook, the video has been viewed more than 23 million times in under four months, proving that people are still morbidly fascinated by pimple-popping videos.
Watch the video for yourself below — if you can stomach it.
