A toddler in Noblesville, Indiana, saved an elderly woman’s life after he saw her fall down while on a walk.

The woman was reportedly taking a walk around her neighborhood when she fell down in the road. Lee McFarland, a 2-year-old boy who lives in the neighborhood, saw the woman fall and alerted his mother, who called police.

“It’s awesome, it’s awesome,” Victoria Davis, the boy’s mother, told WXIN. “Not every day do we hear of a 2-year-old, or 2 1/2-year-old who we can credit to saving a life. We don’t hear that every day on the news.”

The woman was ultimately able to return home and recover from her fall.

“Well done little one, well done!!!” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page. “Your mommy is doing a good job in raising you and you made your mommy very proud. God Bless you both.”

“The world could take some serious example from such a tiny little man He is a real hero,” another wrote. “I hope the town he lives in pay him a real tribute. Mom you have a great boy there. Good job. God bless you both.”

“What a wonderful story,” another reader commented. “Such a brave & smart little boy. He certainly is a hero and kudos to mom for listening to her son!!!”

Some readers praised the boy for likely saving the woman’s life.

“Well done!” commented one reader. “What an amazing smart boy! You probably saved her life That’s being a Hero!”

“You are ONE BRAVE LITTLE BOY,” wrote another. “God Bless you sweet baby.”

“This is one smart little boy and a true hero,” another added. “Your parents have to be so proud of what you did. Great job.”

In a similar incident, a mother and her son saved the life of a 3-year-old boy who was drowning in a pool.

A surveillance video showed the 3-year-old swim into the deep end of the pool at an apartment complex in Tallahassee, Florida, and quickly begin to struggle. He then went under water and stayed there for a couple of minutes until a 9-year-old boy noticed and dived into the water. The boy pulled the toddler up and took him to an adult.

The 9-year-old’s mother then performed CPR on the toddler, and his breathing started to improve, WRIC reported.

By the time emergency crews arrived, the boy was alert and crying. He was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition but was expected to recover.

Authorities told WRIC that the toddler’s mother left him in the care of family members for a brief moment when he wandered off.
