Some Attack Melania For Leaving Asia Early After Hearing What She Has Planned In Alaska

First lady Melania Trump left President Donald Trump’s official Asia tour and stopped in Alaska to attend a military family event on Nov. 10.

The event she was attending took place on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, and the first lady witnessed activities on the air base for the Month of Military Family Celebration. The event, a day before Veterans Day, featured a remembrance of veterans and those who have served the country. 

Melania flew to Alaska from Beijing accompanied by her team. The president continued his trip through Asia, Alaska Dispatch News reported.

The first lady took the trip on an Air Force plane but did not fly on the plane usually designated as Air Force One. She was set to return to Washington, D.C., following the stop in Alaska.

The trip marked Melania’s first time in Alaska.

Many readers praised the first lady for taking time out of her schedule to stop in Alaska and meet with military families.

Trump supporters smile today what a great choice we made last year electing President Donald Trump.”

“I think it’s a wonderful thing she is doing for the service men and women and their families they need to be let known they are not forgotten by the president and the American people they fight for God Bless you first lady and God Bless the veteran’s of the USA stay safe,” another wrote.

“Now this is what a first lady is supposed to be about,” another added. “Pride of being an American she has more pride for a country that accepted her legally as an American citizen thank you Melania Trump We true AMERICANS love you for showing love and pride for our troops.” 

“I am so proud of our Beautiful First Lady, she understands what it is to be a military family,” wrote another commenter. “A lot sacrifice goes along with our love for the USA. The media praise Michelle Obama the woman that said, when her incompetent husband was elected ‘I am finely proud to be an American’ DISGRACE. Now we have a real First Lady that really cares for Americans and our values.”
