Woman Caught Shoplifting Something In Her Pants (Video)
A woman was filmed being caught shoplifting, but the clip quickly went viral for something she pulled out of her pants (video below).
In the clip, Sierra Coleman can be seen struggling with two employees who are restraining her as she attempts to break free. Coleman was reportedly caught stealing a frying pan from a St. Louis Ikea store, which she attempted to hide in her pants. Coleman argued that the way she was being detained was illegal because she was pregnant.
Coleman eventually removed the pan from her pants and dropped it on the ground, then walked inside with the employees to wait for the police.
The woman was ultimately charged with misdemeanor assault and theft. It was later revealed that she was also trying to steal bed sheets, and that she had bit the arm of a security guard who tried to stop her.
Some viewers were sympathetic towards Coleman, saying that it was apparent that she was suffering from a mental condition.
“This is very serious DISORDER=KLEPTOMANIA. People diagnosed with kleptomania often have other types of disorders involving mood, anxiety, eating, impulse control, psychological reasons for stealing, compulsive stealing. Let’s pray for her poor thing,” one AWM America reader commented.
Others were more critical, slamming the woman for not only stealing but acting the way she did when she was caught.
“If I was the owner of that store I think I would have called the police but would have given her the skillet or thrown it away after being in her pants. I know when you buy something like that you wash it real good before using it but just the thoughts of it being in any bodies pants is awful to me,” one Newsiosity reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.
“It’s very sad that she is bringing another human into the world because she will probably teach it that everyone owes them everything they want and if you dont get it that way just go steal it,” another added.
Others shared their own experiences with shoplifters.
“I worked rtetai for years. Worked at an Well Known Arts and Crafts store. Was walking past the spray paints and saw th=ree teenage types stuffing spray cans down their pants. I asked them, Excuse me, but what did you just stuff down your pants?” 1sy kid puilled out 4 cans, the secon and third 6-8 each!” one reader commented.
“Another time this guy walks in wearing a Raiders akle length, warnm up coat. Perhaps not an unusual thing in itself, but it was Mid August in San Diego, CA and the outside temperature exceeded 100,. Guy couldn’t figure out why every associate in the store was following him and asking over and over if he needed assistance. He left after a gew minutes, never understanding why we were so quickly “on” to him. From the next aisle over I heard him tell a “pal,” ” Man, this store is tough!” The problem is, as always, is that they are criminals for a reason, they are apparently far to stupid to do anything else.”
