Dad Loses It After Discovering Daughter In Shower With Teen Boyfriend

A Georgia man was charged with allegedly attacking a child when he found his stepdaughter’s boyfriend in the shower with her.

Clinton Antonio Ward, 49, from Athens, assaulted his stepdaughter’s boyfriend after discovering the teens showering together in his home. He was apprehended after calling 911 himself to report that a strange teenager was in his apartment.

The stepfather was charged with battery and first- and third-degree cruelty to minors. Ward’s stepdaughter told authorities that he was not at his apartment when the two teens went into the shower together.

Ward said that at first, he thought his stepdaughter was talking to someone on speakerphone, according to Athens Banner-Herald.

The teenage lovers left the shower to see Ward sitting on the couch. Seeing that the children’s relationship was up close and personal, the stepfather began cursing and yelling at them. The young lovers retreated to the bedroom, but Ward followed, USA Today reported.

Ward shoved his stepdaughter, who was wearing a towel, and grabbed the naked boy as he tried to collect his clothes and belongings. Ward knocked the boyfriend into the wall and beat him repeatedly in the face and chest.

Ward’s stepdaughter told police that she endured a red eye from being pushed by her stepfather. 

The 49-year-old allegedly confessed to punching the teen and was arrested for “maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel, excessive or mental pain” as well as for permitting a child under the age of 18 to witness the attack.

The boy’s mother told police she hopes charges will be brought against Ward.
