Man Makes Shocking Find In Tree Stump (Video)

Every day, people pass by little abnormalities without investigating. However, sometimes people do investigate, and sometimes investigating can pay off in a big way. That’s what happened to one Las Vegas man.

On an episode of ‘Pawn Stars,’ a man brought something truly unique into the pawn shop.

The man spotted a small metal rod sticking out of a tree stump and decided he needed to figure out what it was. Upon further investigation, he figured out that there was a gun stashed inside of the tree stump, where it had been living for at least 100 years.

Rick Harrison from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas says he has never seen anything like this, so he called in a gun expert to take a look.

The expert tells the man that what he found in the stump in a Remington New Model Army, which was made between 1862 and 1875. He says that the gun itself is a valuable item, but the fact that it is housed inside of a piece of wood, where it has likely been for more than a century, truly makes it a one-of-a-kind piece.
