Nurse Says White Babies Should Be Killed, Regrets It After Seeing Who Heard Her
A black Indiana nurse was fired after she tweeted a controversial statement about white babies.
Taiyesha Baker sparked intense backlash following her tweet, which criticized white male babies and the women who raise them.
“Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star. Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves B***h,” she tweeted.
In a statement to Indy Star, Indiana University Health — who employed the woman — acknowledged the incident.
“A recently hired IU Health employee tied to troubling posts on social media this weekend is no longer an employee of IU Health,” the company tweeted.
The hospital where Baker worked was not disclosed, but Indiana University Health issued another statement to clarify that she did not work at Riley Children’s Hospital.
“IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee,” the statement read. “Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts. During the investigation, that employee (who does not work at Riley Hospital for Children) will have no access to patient care.”
“License should immediately be suspended. B***h should not be allowed near any medical facilities, day care centers, or any places where minors are located. She needs to be court ordered into mental health evaluation. And to get some serious help,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.
Many readers called for the woman’s license to be revoked and for her to face further punishment for her troubling tweet.
“What a piece of work. Hasn’t even had her nursing license for a month. Wow, if she went to nursing school on the taxpayers dime she should be made to pay it back. Never hold a position on the medical field ever again,” another wrote.
“Please people complain to the INDIANA State Board of Nursing. The INDIANA University Health will not report her to them they just want it to go away. She will move on to another facility that is unaware if we do not make sure the Board of Nursing knows of this. Don’t want her to end up caring for me or mine. Please, it only takes a minute to report her,” another added.
“Thank God she exposed herself before she could’ve done significant harm to a lot of innocent people. And applause to Indiana University for not stalling with a decision on handling this and taking immediate action on this clearly unbalanced individual,” another commented.
