Dying Marine Vet’s Deathbed Message to Donald Trump, This Will Break Your Heart

A video of a former Marine’s final message from his deathbed is going viral (video below).

Dr. Larry Lindsey, a former marine, uploaded a video to his YouTube account before passing away. The video, in which Lindsey sends a message to President-elect Donald Trump, was taken in the veteran’s hospital room during his final moments.

“President Trump, Vice President Pence, and General Mattis, I would like to say that the greatest honor of my life has been to wage this battle with you,” Dr. Lindsey said in the video. “I haven’t been prouder of being a marine than anything I have ever done in my life. Having a hand in some small way in fighting for my country has meant the world to me. There is no greater honor for me to have a great man like you leading this country back to its foundation and back to God.”

The video, titled, “Farewell dear friends. God bless you all,” has been viewed more than 183,000 times since being uploaded on December 17.

When the video was filmed, Lindsey’s lungs were failing and he was breathing through an oxygen machine, but the veteran wanted to leave one last message for his followers, his country, and the president-elect.

“Mr. Trump, I have no doubt in my heart and my mind that you will be perhaps the greatest president in the history of our country,” Lindsey said.

Dr Lindsey then turned his attention to Vice President-elect Mike Pence.

“Vice President Pence, I am so honored to call you my Vice President. You’re an incredibly good man and probably the only Vice President in 150 years to have any brains. And I appreciate that about you,” he said.

Lindsey also had a message for Gen. Mattis, who is a fellow Marine veteran.

“General Mattis, it appears I am out of ammunition but I continue to fight with my last breath,” Lindsey said. “I do not fear death for I know where I am going and I am only going home for a rest.”

Lindsey says in the video that he knows he is close to to death and that he wanted to share his final thoughts with the people of the country. He says that he truly believes that by electing Donald Trump, the American people saved the country.

“It is you people the good people of America for whom I cry, my loved ones and my friends, and the sacrifices they continue to make in this fight for our country,” Lindsey said. “Dying is the easy part. Dying is the comforting part part if you know who your God is and you know that he holds your hand. And I do. I praise God for a wonderful life. SO many blessings I have known… I want you to know, each and every one of you that we have taken on a challenge that is only just began. The real battle lies ahead.”

The video concludes with Lindsey sending one last request to Gen. Mattis: “Give ’em hell and Temper Fi. God Bless.”
