Rapist Attacks Jogger, Gets Horrible Surprise As He Tries To Rip Her Shorts Off

A jogger’s incredible knowledge of self defense not only helped her fight off a potential rapist, but also garnered her praise across the Internet when her story went viral.

Kelly Herron was jogging in a Seattle, Washington, park when she stopped to use the bathroom. It was then that known sex offender Gary Steiner attacked her.

“As I was drying my hands, I became aware that something was wrong. It was a fight on the bathroom floor. All I could think was, ‘Not today expletive,'” she told KABC. 

Herron’s GPS, which was on her person at the time, showed several attempts to get away from Steiner. She was ultimately able to escape the stall thanks to self defense lessons she took just three weeks earlier.

“I learned to put your hard bones in soft fleshy places. So I just started beating the side of his head with the side of my hand,” she said. Self defense experts applauded the woman for what she did, saying that her method to getting away was correct.

Steiner was arrested on suspicion of assault and rape.

“Glad she is ok and could defend herself, the acts of repeat offenders such as the scum bag who raped and killed the OSU student recently are the result of the pathetic judicial system, the blood of the victims are on the hands of the pathetic people who released them!” one Mad World News reader commented in response to the story on the site’s Facebook page.

“This is awesome . What would be even more stellar than her pure hellcat spirit is if she could have put a bullet in him,” another wrote.

Others called on more women to take similar classes in order to prepare themselves for the possibility of something similar happening to them.

“Kelly may or may not agree, and I hope this does not offend her. I am glad it was her and not an unprepared female. He possible could have been successful and still on the streets doing it again! I am very, very sorry that Kelly had to go through this, but because she did, the world is a better place today. She should be proud of herself for putting him away. Everyone should take self defense training, especially females,” one reader commented.

Other readers expressed their desire to see Steiner be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

“He will probably get justice while in prison — he won’t be very happy,” one reader wrote. 

“He should be locked up and the key thrown away. Once a rapist always a rapist. I’m so glad I have a permit to carry,” another commented.

“Why does nobody in America talk about castration for sex offenders. Once castrated they will lose the desire and ability to rape.!!!!” another added.
