A North Las Vegas, Nevada, Walmart outraged customers with a “racist” and “insensitive” clothing display at the store on Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive.

The display shows clothes hung from the ceiling in what looks like a hanging, disturbing many patrons.

A KTNV reporter took a photo of the display and showed it to people on the street, asking for their views.

“I see someone walking through the apparel section of Walmart,” one man said.

Another shopper said it “looks like prices and racks of clothes.”

While some said the display looked like “mannequins of people hanging from the top of the roof” or “people hanging from the ceiling,” others saw something more nefarious.

“Halloween’s gone, but you still have four black figures hanging from the ceiling,” a man told Action News.

One man described the display as “four black items hanging from the ceiling as if they were four black people.”

According to Some News, it looked “a little like the Ku Klux Klan, black people hanging from the ceiling,” a woman said.

Walmart reportedly took down the display, but representatives from the company have not responded to the controversy or apologized, according to KTNV.
