Some Democrats Accuse Melania Of 'Sick Deed' With Military Kids, Her Response Goes Viral

A left-wing blog criticized First Lady Melania Trump and her Nov. 10 visit to Alaska, in which she met with children at an Air Force base. Melania’s supporters were quick to respond when the post sparked controversy.

The blog, called the Immoral Minority, criticized the fact that children were handpicked for the photo opportunity before the first lady arrived for the event. The post also called out President Trump for his alleged sexual abuse of women over the years.

“I wonder if Melania felt at home here in our frigid little state?” the Alaskan blogger wrote. “After all this is a state fairly bulging with sexual abuse victims, and she is married to the most famous abuser on the planet.”

Many readers criticized the blogger for the harsh assessment of the visit.

“Now that we finally have a intelligent, beautiful, thoughtful First Lady the dumb liberals are aghast, they don’t know how to handle a beautiful smart woman who wears expensive clothes and wear high heels that all woman, if they were honest, would give their life to be able to wear. The liberal press is so use to their politicians controlling the plantation that they don’t know how to respond to Donald and Melanie Trump, billionaires who pay their own way…. get s life losers,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“She is an intelligent, classy First Lady. We love her and thank her for all she does, and admire her for the way she shows love and concern to kids,” another wrote.

“First Lady Melania Trump is a natural with children. She has a mothers heart. What a wonderful gift she is to all of her supporters. A First Lady to brag about to all the world. God bless the Trump family,” another added.

Melania Trump’s visit to Alaska was scheduled at the last minute due to the fact that it was a refueling stop on her way back to Washington, D.C. from Asia, which she had been visiting with her husband. President Trump ultimately continued the visit without his wife, and the White House clarified that Melania “has her own schedule to keep and needed to get back.”

The meeting with the local children in Anchorage was at the Arctic Oasis Community Center, where the first lady got a tour of the youth programs at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

“Any time we have an opportunity to share with others what our program does and the educational basis for all the activities that we do, it’s a chance to show our story and to share with other individuals how we serve our military population,” Tama De Benedetto, a staffer at the base, told Fox News. “Every program we offer has an educational purpose and a reason for why we do it.”

De Benedetto called Mrs. Trump “delightful and very genuine” following the visit.
