Cat’s Reaction To Human ‘Drowning’ Goes Viral (Video)

A cat’s amazing reaction to its owner “drowning” in a bathtub has gone viral (video below).

In the clip, the cat can be seen jumping up to the edge of its owner’s bathtub, seemingly convinced that she is drowning.

The woman is actually just relaxing in the tub, according to Newsiosity, but her cat continues to jump up onto the bathtub and even grabs her hand by the mouth and tries to pull her out.

The kitty frantically attempts to rescue its owner several times, adorably panicking as the owner films the entire incident.

The cat’s amazing response quickly went viral, with many viewers saying that the owner shouldn’t have let the incident play out as long as she did.

“While this is a very special cat and really heartwarming to see him do everything possible to save his mommy from drowning, he was suffering in fear,” one viewer commented on Newsiosity’s Facebook page. “I think she should have cut it short and not keep doing it. Poor kitty.”

Another wrote: “[T]hat is so precious yet sad at the same time. the kitten was doing everything possible to save her. actually trying to pull her out by the hand. but sad to see this kitten in such a panic mode. so sure her mistress was in trouble.”

“To the worriers, maybe she wanted to show how unique and caring her kitty is,” a third Facebook user commented. “Showing all those animal haters how much your furry loved ones care and love you. They do have feelings you know! I know mine does! I get a hug and wet kiss every morning from mine!”
