Charles Manson Pictured For First Time Since Health Scare
Serial killer Charles Manson was pictured for the first time since a near-death health scare that put him in the hospital.
Photos of Manson inside Corcoran State Prison in California showed the convicted murderer, who is serving nine life sentences, looking pale and almost ghostlike in the visitors room at the prison. One photo showed the former cult leader with an evil gaze, dressed in a blue prison outfit and sunglasses. Another shows him with a follower’s arm around him.
The photos were taken on Jan. 21, a few weeks after Manson was hospitalized for internal bleeding.
“Charlie is in good spirits. He’s looking good and looking strong. He didn’t seem concerned about his health issues,” a source told the New York Post.
The person whose arm was pictured in a photo with Manson is nicknamed Black Wolf, and reportedly met with Manson for four hours. During that time, Manson ate a healthy snack he got from a food vendor — a notable change for the 82-year-old, who would normally eats Doritos chips and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
At the time of his hospitalization, TMZ reported, Manson was scheduled for surgery. Doctors later reportedly determined he was too weak for the procedure.
The bleeding was allegedly caused by a lesion in his intestines.
News of Manson’s recent health scare and subsequent recovery went viral, with many expressing their anger toward the convicted murderer.
“We’re still paying for this loser?” one Daily Mail reader commented. “Long overdue for execution!”
“The little shrimp of a guy could only feel important by being evil and convincing people that he was something special,” another added. “Too chicken to do his own wicked deeds, and felt like a big man by having brain dead girls do his work. He never measured up as a musician, so was a hanger on to some of the Beach Boys, and wasn’t star material, so he latched on to Doris Day’s son.”
The commenter continued, with certain words spelled with extra spaces:
Without his de mon ic powers of persuasion, he would be a shriveled up nobody living in the streets panhandling for whiskey and cigarettes. I lo athe him. He’s managed to become part of history, and that only reinforces to him that he’s something special. Any of those girls could have taken this little weasel. Too bad they didn’t. He’s nothing.
