Town Hall Discussion Interrupted by Loud Fart – She Has the Perfect Reaction

When an unusual sound rang out during a town hall meeting, everybody in the room was caught off guard and failed to hold it together, giving into laughter (video below).

According to Newsiosity, the city council of Medina, Ohio, held a town hall meeting to discuss block grants. While the city’s mayor was speaking, a noise rang out that stunned everybody – a fart.

“That’s a first,” one city council member said. 

“You can’t make this stuff up,” the mayor added, laughing.

Soon, the entire city council was laughing about the surprising occurrence. As they attempted to get the meeting back on track, everybody struggled to hold it together and gave in to their childish instincts to crack up at the flatulence.

The city’s mayor tried hard to contain herself and proceed with the meeting, but every time she tried to speak, she failed to keep a straight face and broke out in laughter. 

It is not exactly clear who is responsible for the fart, but some viewers speculate that it was a child in the audience who walked by a podium to whisper something to an adult paying attention to the meeting. Viewers noticed that at the exact moment that the fart is heard, the child grabs his stomach. Unfortunately for the boy, he happened to be next to a podium that appears to have a microphone on it, which some viewers believe amplified the flatulence.

After members of the city council got the laughs mostly out of their systems, the mayor tried once again to resume the meeting, but yet another fart interrupted her. The mayor, as well as the rest of the city council, could not hold their laughs in anymore. One council member even called for a recess, as they didn’t think it would be possible to get through the meeting.

The video was originally uploaded on YouTube in 2009. In the eight years since being uploaded, it has been viewed more than 16 million times.
