Thugs Attack Old Man In Park — Made One Massive Mistake

A group of individuals attacked an elderly man while he read a book on a park bench in Baltimore, Maryland, and posted a video of it on Facebook.

Two people were arrested in connection with the attack, which took place in September of 2016 in the middle of the day. Zany Laws and Dakei Perry, both 18 years old, were charged with attempted murder and robbery after taking part in the attack.

Laws admitted to police that she stood with the attackers and recorded the attack on her cell phone before posting it to Facebook.

“Here’s a man sitting on a bench, reading a book in the park,” City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke told The Baltimore Sun. “To Think that it was actually planned and recorded to be publicized is just beyond understanding. It’s outrageous.”

Clarke questioned what would “inspire a person to take part in such an assault” and would “want other people to share it.”

According to The Baltimore Sun, the victim was sitting on a bench when the suspects surrounded him and asked about exchanging foreign money. One suspect put a gun to the man’s head and demanded money. Another suspect stabbed the 64-year-old man in his lower back while a third sprayed him with Mace. The victim was then stabbed again in the right arm before the suspects fled with some cash, his phone and a backpack.

“Criminals do some crazy things,” police spokesman T.J. Smith said. “They record themselves committing crimes, and we thank them for it. We encourage the criminals to continue to record your acts, and encourage citizens to continue to send us information when you find the criminal wrongdoing on camera and on social media.”

Many readers expressed outrage over the attack, with some pointing to it as a reason for people to be armed.

“I’m sorry but that is why I believe in concealed and carry they brutally attacked this gentleman and yes they are going to spend their time in prison but I personally believe they should have met their maker nobody should have to be assaulted like that it is just so shameful what our country has turned into disrespectful thieving pieces of s**t,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“These are true psychopaths! They harm people for the thrill of it, and the only remorse they feel is that they got caught. If left to be free in society, they will continue doing this, they must be locked away for the protection of civilized society!” another wrote.

“If these thugs would be at work, this wouldn’t happen!! Just worthless animals!!! Get rid of them!!! One way or the other!! Who cares!! How much more worthless can a human get, to beat up an elderly man sitting on a bench, reading a book!! Too bad this man didn’t have a gun, and blow all 3 of these pigs away!!! Good riddance scum!!!!” another added.
