Little Boy, Age 6, Gets Tortured And Murdered By 5 Other Children – And It Only Gets Worse From There
A 6-year-old boy in Mexico was murdered by five older children in what they called a “game of kidnap.”
Christopher Raymundo Marquez, of Chihuahua, Mexico, was invited by five children, ages 12 to 15, to play and collect firewood in a field near his home, reports the Daily Mail. The group stopped at a stream and told Christopher they were going to play a “game of kidnap.”
“While they were playing, one of the 15-year-olds suggested to the others that they should kill Christopher,” state prosecutor Sergio Almaraz told El Diario de Chihuahua. “It wasn’t planned. It was a condition of the game they played.”
Almaraz said the five children admitting to killing Christopher.
As the group reached the stream, they tied Christopher’s hands and feet together before beating him with a thorn-covered stick.
Christopher was then stoned by the other children and suffocated with the thorny stick pressed against his neck. One of the boys allegedly stabbed Christopher in the back after he was dead.
Investigators were tipped off about the body’s location by one of the alleged attackers’ mothers, according to New York Daily News. Christopher’s body was found face down in a shallow grave nearly two days after he went missing. His body was left in a weedy area near a dead animal that had also been dumped there.
The alleged killers are a 12-year-old boy, two 13-year-old girls and two 15-year-old boys, according to El Debate. Under Mexican law, three of the suspects, the 12-year-old boy and two 13-year-old girls, are too young to be charged. All five children will undergo psychological and sociological evaluations.
Prosecutors noted that the killing shows a “social decomposition” and “absence of values.”
