Man Forces Girl To Do Sick Thing Before Raping Her
An Iraqi refugee reportedly forced a 10-year-old girl to watch pornography before he raped her.
The refugee was arrested and later stood trial for raping the girl repeatedly over the course of several months in 2016. The man, identified as Ahmed, also raped the girl’s aunt — who ultimately married the rapist to protect her honor, The Christian Post reported. He met the girl through the aunt, who moved in with him at an asylum camp after needing a place to live with her niece and nephew.
The girl’s aunt called police after discovering the rape, and he was arrested and charged. Despite evidence that the aunt was also raped repeatedly, a court ultimately ignored the claim and instead focused solely on the rape of the girl.
It was later revealed that 45-year-old Ahmed forced the girl to watch pornography before raping her, Breitbart reported.
In February, Ahmed was sentenced to six years in prison followed by deportation to Iraq from Sweden, where the rape took place. The sentence was given on the condition that DNA evidence and witness testimony was obtained.
Ahmed subsequently began attempting to appeal the court’s ruling in order to avoid being detained, though no decision was initially reached and a date was not set for a decision on the appeal.
Sweden has reportedly been the setting for a number of attacks from migrants recently, including one sexual assault and abduction case that saw two men arrested and jailed. The men were classified as “stateless refugees” because they arrived in Sweden with no papers. Because of their status, they were not able to be deported and were ultimately sent to jail, Breitbart reported.
The case involved a 23-year-old victim that was kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of men who took turns raping her in a room below a coffee shop. Only two of the seven suspects in the case were caught and arrested, though police said they were satisfied with the outcome.
“It’s good we found forensic evidence, it can be difficult [to find] sometimes. On some fabrics for instance, it can be difficult to find traces of semen,” a police statement read. “We had good cooperation with all involved — analysts, forensics, and the National Forensic Centre technology group. We have also had good communication with the prosecutor and it is good that there has been a conviction.”
The men who carried out the disturbing attack were described as having displayed “particular ruthlessness and brutality.”
