Man Spots Deer With Donut On Its Antlers (Video)

A camper was surprised to see a deer approaching him, but as it got closer he noticed something bizarre on its antler. What happened next shocked him (video below).

According to Time, a man was camping in Wyoming’s Snake River Canyon when a deer approached him across a creek. As the deer got closer, he spotted something odd about its antler.

The deer continued to approach the man and that’s when he realized what was on its head – a powdered donut.

“A very friendly deer in the bottom of the snake river canyon says hello with a surprise on his antler, most likely the doughnut was placed there by another camper,” Ben Lzicar wrote in the video’s description.

Lzicar helped the deer out by removing the donut from its head when it came close enough to him.

“I just did you a solid, homie,” he told the deer.

It is not clear how the donut got onto the animal’s antlers.

The video of the surprising interaction went viral, with nearly 2 million views. Many viewers commented on the video, sharing their thoughts and joking about the incident.

“That deer is an ancient spirit animal,” one user wrote. “By removing the sacred doughnut, you have curse us all.”

“Too funny,” another user wrote. “I’m almost 100% convinced the deer is tame. Although stranger things have happened.”

Some viewers expressed concerned that the person who placed the donut on the deer’s head would cause harm to the animal.

“I hope people don’t get the idea that this is normal, natural or okay to do by any stretch of the imagination. The harm being done to this, and perhaps other deer is irreversible and most likely lethal to the deer,” a viewer commented. “Yes, it’s fun and it’s cool to be so close to a wild animal but by feeding it anything creates a dependency and a loss of its natural ability to be self-sustaining. Please don’t encourage this kind of behavior. It’s really not good.”
