Police Disturbed To Learn What Parents Forced Into Baby Girl’s Body Hours After Her Birth

Two Utah parents were arrested and charged after reportedly giving their newborn baby drugs on the day she was born.

Colby Glen Wilde and Lacey Dawn Christenson, from Elk Ridge, Utah, were arrested and charged with drug distribution and child endangerment after it was discovered that Christenson used heroin and prescription pain meds during her pregnancy. The child was born addicted to drugs on April 9.

On June 26, Wilde reportedly took items from a local Walmart while he was with his 2-month-old daughter and brought them to customer service in an attempt to return them as if he purchased them. He was caught by employees on his way out and attempted to run, but collided with the exit door. He abandoned his child and was able to flee the scene, before later being arrested by a sheriff’s deputy, KUTV reported. 

Wilde was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of heroin and methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, child abuse and theft.

Christenson, Wilde’s common-law wife, was later arrested and the couple’s four children were placed in the care of the Department of Family Services. Two days later, while Wilde and Christenson were in jail, a woman contacted police about drug paraphernalia items she found while caring for the couple’s pets at their home. A warrant was issued and a search found paraphernalia in several areas of the home.

Deputies ultimately tested all the children for drugs, and the couple’s three boys and their infant daughter all tested positive for methamphetamine. The baby also tested positive for heroin and morphine.

Many readers called for the parents to have their children taken away.

“All of these children need to be taken from their parents and their parental rights terminated. The children should then be placed in a loving home where they have a chance. Then both of these pathetic morons should be sterilized. They’ve obviously proven they only care about themselves and should never be able to endanger innocent children again,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“eople like this don’t have a disease because they are a disease. So they, and those like them, should be treated like a virus. So a vaxine to irradicate the virus should be created or just brought back. Rope is cheap and can be used multiple times. Then slowly the disease will die out and children won’t suffer anymore and tax dollars could go to something useful,” another wrote.

“What lousy parents drugs before kids are is more important to them. They need to both go to prison for a longtime. Hope they never see their kids again! Fix them both so they can’t have anymore kids!” another added.
