Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, finds himself entangled in a $30 million legal battle against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, where the rapper faces allegations of sex trafficking and sexual abuse.
Combs, facing a slew of sexual assault accusations, reportedly lured guests to his extravagant gatherings with promises of rubbing elbows with A-listers, including the likes of Prince Harry, among other celebrities, as per the legal complaint.
The extensive 73-page lawsuit was initiated by record producer Rodney Jones, who portrays the billionaire mogul as a habitual sexual predator.
It’s important to note that there are no implications of misconduct against Prince Harry, as his mention in the lawsuit merely serves as an example of Combs’ high-profile connections.
Back in 2007, both Prince Harry and his brother Prince William were captured in photos alongside Combs and Kanye West following a performance at the Concert for Diana held at Wembley stadium.
Within the legal documents, Mr. Jones accuses Combs of sexual assault and alleges that his parties were attended by sex workers and underage girls.
Furthermore, Jones claims that Combs pressured him into soliciting prostitutes and coerced him into engaging in sexual activities with them. In response, the media mogul, aged 54, vehemently refutes the allegations, branding them as “pure fiction.”
Combs is concurrently contending with lawsuits from three other women, and federal agents recently conducted searches at two of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of an ongoing probe.
In a statement, US Homeland Security stated, “Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”
Previously, in November of the prior year, Combs faced legal action from his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, who accused him of rape, drug administration, and assault over a decade-long period.
Although the suit was settled swiftly the next day, it was followed by three additional lawsuits over the following month, all alleging sexual abuse or involvement in revenge pornography by Combs.
Addressing the claims in a statement in December, Combs denounced them as “sickening” and asserted that his accusers were simply seeking financial gain.
“I did not do any of the awful things being assumed. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth,” he declared.
Combs, renowned by aliases such as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, remains a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry, having collaborated with notable artists like Usher, Notorious BIG, and Mary J Blige throughout the 21st century.
