Fed-Up Country Boy Finds Saggy-Pants Thug Who Ran From Cops, Quickly Makes Him Cry

A South Carolina man captured and held a fugitive at gunpoint until police arrived to take him into custody (video below).

Police had been searching for 21-year-old Christopher Cravets for more than 10 days, according to WLTX. On Aug. 29, Cravets was able to outrun police during the arrest of 26-year-old Cody Gene Jackson.

Cravets was back on the run until a local Kershaw County man, Charles Belcher, spotted him.

“Come out to my truck, got my gun because I had seen the cops walking around and they had said that he was armed and dangerous and in just a few minutes I came out here to check the white car and didn’t see anything,” Belcher told WLTX. “Come out here to check the green [Ford] Explorer and saw somebody in the back and I just pulled my weapon and ordered him out of the vehicle and made him get out on the ground before the cops got here.”

Belcher held Cravets at gunpoint on the ground while he called police.

“The only thing I was worried about was if he had a gun and if he was going to try and shoot me or whatever, which I was hoping that we weren’t going to go to that distance,” Belcher said.

Minutes later, police arrived at the scene and took Cravets into custody.

According to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, Cravets has been charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and second-degree burglary.

“He pistol-whipped a girl and tried to rob her at gunpoint,” Matthews said. “We will never turn down civilian assistance when we have a situation like that because we’re pretty shorthanded and even though we had a SLED helicopter up, we need all of the help we can get and this guy stepped up to the plate and he did the right thing.”

Readers shared their thoughts on the story on the Mad World News Facebook page.

“A bully is nothing but a coward,” one user wrote. “He was a big man when he was beating up a young woman but turned into a cry baby when he was up against men with guns. Let’s hope they don’t let him loose for quite some time. Let’s see how soon before the troublemakers start whining about this poor innocent boy being mistreated.”

“You are a hero,” another reader commented. “A lot if them turn into crying babies when they are caught because they can no longer be the big bully.”
