State Department Terminates Employee Accused of Coaching Visa Applicants to Evade Deportation

A contractor working for the U.S. State Department has been fired after shocking undercover footage revealed him giving advice on how to avoid deportation and launching into deeply offensive tirades against Jewish colleagues and other ethnic groups.

The man, identified as Arslan Akhtar, was captured on hidden camera by James O’Keefe’s investigative outlet, O’Keefe Media Group, discussing how he assists individuals—particularly Hispanics—with strategies to stay in the country illegally, while also spouting bigoted views on Jews, Israelis, and other groups.

In the footage, Akhtar, whose role involved reviewing visa applications, boasted about giving undocumented immigrants tips on how to deal with law enforcement, telling them to remain silent and never admit guilt. “Keep your mouth shut,” he advised. “Always claim innocence. That’s the loophole.”

Shortly after the video surfaced, a senior State Department official confirmed Akhtar’s termination, writing in an email to The Washington Times: “The contractor is no longer employed by the U.S. State Department. We are committed to protecting the integrity of our immigration system, and that’s why we’re implementing stronger screening protocols for all contractors.”

But the disturbing content of the video didn’t stop with immigration. Akhtar is also seen delivering a stream of hate-filled remarks about Jewish employees at the department, calling them “garbage people” and accusing them of promoting “genocide.” He even took aim at Israeli citizens, saying bluntly, “I hate them to death.”

The video also captured Akhtar making disparaging remarks about Yemenis, Indians, Bangladeshis, and White Americans. He described White people as enforcing a societal system that “puts us at the bottom,” and went on to say, “It’s a culture of dominance—they think they own everything.”

His unfiltered comments were made during what appeared to be a casual conversation at a restaurant with an undercover female operative posing as a date.

In response to the firestorm, the State Department’s official X (formerly Twitter) account posted a blunt message: “This is just the beginning. We are rooting out extremists embedded within our system. If you hold these views and work in or with the State Department, we will find you.”

O’Keefe, known for his previous work at Project Veritas, said the video raises serious concerns about national security and the visa process. “This man had influence over who enters and stays in our country. How did someone with such blatant hatred gain that kind of authority?”

Akhtar also made a disturbing reference to Elon Musk, expressing violent fantasies about the billionaire entrepreneur, saying he should be “lynched on the street.”

As of now, Akhtar has not responded to the release of the video or the accusations stemming from it. O’Keefe Media Group says more investigations into government employees are forthcoming. The footage has reignited concerns about the influence of politically or ideologically extreme individuals within sensitive areas of the federal government.
