Potheads Ransack Cars For Loot, Fed-Up Dad Has Brutal Response
A Florida homeowner shot at three teens after he found them breaking into his family’s cars.
The break-in occurred around 2:45 a.m. on the morning of Aug. 13 in Panama City Beach; it was reported to police by a woman who called to tell them that she had heard a loud noise outside and awakened her husband. The husband then found the three male teens trying to break in to his family’s vehicles.
The homeowner confronted the suspects while armed with an AK-47, and the teens quickly tried to flee. According to the homeowner, one of the teens turned around to him as the group was escaping in a way that made him fear that he was going to be shot if he did not take action. He then began firing his gun and hit one of the teens.
“The safety of our community is our priority and we are thankful that this did not end worse than it did,” Washington County Sheriff Kevin Crews told the Panama City News Herald. “We will not tolerate homes or property being burglarized or the danger that comes with it in this county. We are thankful the homeowners are safe after this incident and the perpetrators are behind bars.”
The teens, 19-year-old Conrad VonBlankenburg, 19-year-old Tristen Wilson and 15-year-old Kevin Taylor, were charged with grand theft of a firearm, burglary and obstructing justice, WJHG reported. Taylor was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Wilson suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

“Treating them as innocent little tots doesn’t work..these kids need a hard lesson. If society doesn’t wake up our youth are in a great deal of trouble due to a lack of strict discipline and direction..enough enabling these trypes of crime with a hand slap.. We need some real consequences for the actions they choose to portray. Parents can love their children but thst doesn’t mean they have to endorse their illegal behavior,” one reader opined.
“Good for the homeowner awesome,” another wrote. “Self protect and when you step on someone’s property and break and enter it’s a dam, crime people it’s against the law ,so the older couple was right.”
“Be careful you little worthless p**s ants. Americans have had enough of your entitled attitudes. You want to do drugs – get a JOB to support your habit. Where the hell are the PARENTS of these teens?” another added.
