Texas Officer Shocked By Note Left On Patrol Car (Photo)

A Texas police officer was shocked to read a note left on the windshield of his patrol car.

Fort Worth police are searching for the author of the note left on an officer’s squad car in order to thank them for the prayers and support.

The Fort Worth Police Association shared a photo of the note on their Facebook page.

In part, the letter reads, “Thank you. I am in awe that there are people like you who choose to get up and put on your uniform everyday. You are courageous, you are faithful, and I pray that my kids grow up to be like the kind of person it takes to be you just a few hours a day.”

The photo was shared in hopes that the person who left the note would come forward to be thanked by the department. The note was signed, “Madison W.”

After sharing, the note quickly spread on Facebook.

“Be confident in this: That he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,” the note concludes.
