Fed-Up Texas Grandmother Discovers Saggy-Pants Robber In Her Home, Delivers Brutal Instant Justice

A 60-year-old Harris County, Texas, woman shot and killed an armed intruder after two men tried to break into her home.

The woman told authorities that the men entered her house through her open garage door around 11:30 a.m. on the day of the incident.

“Both were armed with pistols, she confronted both suspects,” Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland told KHOU. The woman proceeded to grab a handgun and fire at the intruders — killing one of them as they attempted to flee.

“It’s the state of Texas, if you’re going to go into someone’s home, you’re going to get shot,” neighbor Cathy Hanks said. “That’s really how we are. That’s just Texas.”

The other suspect was able to get away and is currently wanted. He reportedly jumped a fence during his escape, and it is not known whether he was injured.

The woman, who was unharmed in the incident, told authorities that she did not know the suspects.

Many readers applauded the woman for protecting herself and her home from the armed suspects.

“She done exactly what she needed to do. The only problem is she did not get the other one. If this woman is charged, it will prove just how sorry the court system is. She has the right to protect her life and property. Hate it happened, but the thugs got exactly what they deserved,” one mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“Way to go Grandma those thugs could of killed her she was within her right and I commend her too bad the other guy got away ..she protected her life and property you dammed well know it those guys were going in her home with loaded guns to do her harm ! God bless her,” another wrote.

“Good for her! Whether they were armed or not, they knew breaking in was wrong and they deserve whatever the homeowner can do to stop them. We need to stop arresting the people who are defending themselves and stop being concerned about the criminals rights,” another added.

Some readers feared that although the woman was defending herself, she could run into legal issues for shooting the suspect.

“When you break into somebody else’s home you deserve to be shot. Hopefully no charges will be brought against her. I’m sure the media will defend these worthless thugs but the media always sides with the dirtbags. They don’t care about crime victims,” one reader wrote.
