Trump Attacks The Squad At Rally, Crowd Starts This Shocking Chant About Ilhan Omar

Taking four Democratic congresswomen one by one, a pugnacious President Donald Trump shifted his campaign rally into a lengthened inquest of the liberal viewpoints of the women of color, jeering them for what he painted as radical positions and recommending they just get out.

“Tonight I have a suggestion for the hate-filled extremists who are constantly trying to tear our country down. They never have anything good to say. That’s why I say, ‘Hey if you don’t like it, let ’em leave, let ’em leave,'” Trump told the crowd in North Carolina.

Driven to ruffle up his base with the same kind of speech he targeted at youths and women in 2016, Trump announced Wednesday night, “I think in some cases they hate our country.”

The president’s blows were directed at the self-described “squad” of four freshmen Democrats who have drawn attention since their arrival in January for their blunt liberal views and aversion for Trump.

The four freshmen Democrats were Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts. All women were born in the U.S. except for Omar, who fled from Somalia with her family when she was still a child.

Going against the representatives one at a time, Trump ticked through a laundry list of what he considered offensive comments by each woman, damaging and distorting many facts along the way.

Omar came under the most strident criticism as Trump worked to voters’ complaints, influencing a chant from the crowd of “Send her back! Send her back!”

Omar responded with a series of tweets, including one quoting Maya Angelou’s challenging poem, “Still I Rise,” with the words “You may shoot me with your words… But still, like air, I’ll rise.”

“I am where I belong, at the people’s house and you’re just gonna have to deal!” she wrote in another tweet.
