Woman Films Herself Raping Multiple Children
A Brawley, California, woman was arrested after she reportedly molested multiple children and filmed it via webcam for a male friend in Florida.
Diane Christina Deveaux was charged with felony child molestation after a probe was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations and the Brawley Police Department.
Video of the disturbing crime was found during a search of the woman’s apartment, leading to her arrest. She was later charged with an additional 13 criminal counts – bringing the total to eight counts of forcible lewd acts on a child and seven counts of penetration or oral copulation of a child under the age of 10.
Deveaux faces life in prison if found guilty.
“Identifying and arresting predators who commit cruel and unforgivable crimes against innocent children is a top priority for HSI,” Ronnie Martinez, assistant special agent in charge for Homeland Security Investigations, said. “These crimes have a devastating impact on the young victims. HSI will continue to pursue child predators to hold them accountable for their unconscionable actions.”
“The Imperial County Board of Supervisors’ support of the Imperial Valley ICAC Task Force enhances our ability to investigate and prosecute offenders who use the internet to sexually exploit children,” Imperial County District Attorney Gilbert Otero said. “Collaboration between local, state and federal agencies allows us to hold people accountable when they prey on the most vulnerable members of our community.”
Many readers reacted strongly to the horrific story, with some calling for the woman and the man she filmed the videos for to be put the death.
“Forever in jail. Prefer death penalty,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.
“Just give them the death penalty and be done with it,” another wrote.
“When they are sent to jail. Make sure that EVERYONE in the jail on what they did. Then have ALL the guards go to a meeting for a couple of hours,” another added.
In a similar incident, a Florida woman was arrested after a toddler got a hold of her guns and fired it.
The incident happened in the woman’s car, while she was on her way to pick up her son from school. Both the gun and the child were in the car, WKMG reported.
“This is a reminder that accidents do happen and we encourage everyone to exercise caution and extra responsibility, especially on school grounds where so many children are present. We encourage parents to never leave children unattended in a vehicle. Any suspected violation of Florida gun statutes on school property will be immediately reported by Good Shepherd Academy to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office,” the school’s principal, Jared Rathje, said.
