Bryan Otero, 27, was also charged for his involvement, allegedly helping and watching the rape take place. After the alleged sexual assault, Smith reportedly left Amelia and returned to Kansas.

“These social media applications can pose a problem to especially a younger juvenile,” Union Township Detective Ken Mullis said following the arrests and the return of the teen to her family.
