Woman Is Floored By Sudden Announcement At Waffle House, Snaps Picture

A Florida woman was eating at a Waffle House diner when she noticed the staff began doing something unusual. She was so shocked by what she saw that she snapped a photo and posted about the incident on social media.

Paige Price was having breakfast at the Waffle House in Panama City, Florida, when the restaurant’s manager told the employees that it was time for a shift change. The announcement caught Price’s attention and she turned her head to watch what happened next.

The manager and employees all gathered behind the counter following the announcement, held hands, and began to pray, according to Mad World News.

Price was taken aback by what she saw and took a photo of the staff in prayer. She shared the photo, along with a post about the incident, on her Facebook page.

She wrote in the post:

Some of u may think I’m weird for this and that’s ok. Yes I snapped a picture of the waffle house workers. Why? We are in Panama City Beach where I took this photo. We stopped here to eat at about 9ish. I over heard the manager say “It’s shift change”. No big deal right? I looked over and noticed all of the workers gathering around each other, in a circle, some holding hands, and some taking their hats off. I’m pretty sure I had a very weird look on my face because I had to ask myself a few times if this was real, if they were really about to pray before each of them went thier separate ways, if they were really about to PRAY and not care who they offened. They gathered in their little circle, spoke a soft prayer, and went on about their business. Why am I posting this? The world that Ive grown up in for 23 years is changing fast and to see this just made my heart smile. Maybe there’s hope for our country after all. I applaud these people for standing up for what they believe in and not worrying about offending others or what others may think/say about them.

Price’s post quickly spread on social media. Many friends and followers commented on the post, voicing their support for the Waffle House staff for being so open about their faith.

“I don’t think you’re weird for taking this picture , because its great that there is a restaurant that isn’t afraid to pray , just because they are afraid of offending somebody, that is one place I would definitely eat at,” one user commented.

“Love this,” another user wrote. “It’s time that We all begin to fight and stand up for what we believe. And whether we believe it or not if the word of God says it ,then we need to make a stand”
